Shafqat Cheema Career

He claims that his acting career began by coincidence, when he walked into the Shahnoor Studios. He then decided that he wanted to become a film actor. He struggled for almost 12 years before he was offered a side role in the film Kalka (1989), which also starred Sultan Rahi. He produced film ‘Geo Sir Utha Kay’ starring Babar Ali, Nayyar Ejaz, and Rashid Mehmood in lead roles. He was also among the main cast of this film.

In 2013 he got a chance to portray the role of Bashir Bhatti in the biopic of Shahid Afridi. The film ‘Main Hoon Shahid Afridi stars Humayun Saeed, Noman Habib, Gohar Rasheed, and others.

In 2015 he became a part of another superhit film ‘Wrong No’ starring Danish Taimoor, Sohai Ali Abroo, and Javed Sheikh. In the movie ‘Saaya E Khuda E Zul Jalal’ he played the role of Subedar Shair Muhammad.
