Disha Vakani born 17 September 1978 is an Indian film and television actress. She is well known for playing the role of Daya Jethalal Gada in popular daily sitcom Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah opposite Dilip Joshi.
She started her career as a stage actress in Gujarati theatre-like Kamal Patel v/s Dhamal Patel and Lali Lila. She has appeared in supporting roles in Hindi films like Devdas (2002) and Jodhaa Akbar (2008).
