25-year-old Moon Bin, a member of the popular South Korean band Astro, was found dead in his room on April 19 Wednesday in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea, Astro’s music label Fantagio confirmed.
Fantagio’s Twitter account released a statement on Thursday regarding Moon Bun expressing its grief over the singer’s sudden death, although the company has not yet released a cause of death.
South Korean news agency Yonhap quoted police as saying Moon Bin was found dead in his apartment in the capital Seoul on Wednesday night, his body first discovered by his manager.
After receiving continuous phone calls from the manager, when they reached Moon Bin’s house, they found out that the singer had passed away.
Due to the sudden death of the pop singer, his fans around the world are in mourning, while Moon Bun’s name is among the top trends on Twitter.
In 2016, Moon became a part of the six-member band ‘Astro’, which debuted with the album ‘Spring Up’.
