The story revolves around a family of wealthy landowners whose members are orthodox and still follow the feudal system. Malik Sarkar (Jahanzeb Gurchani) is the patriarch of the family and the head of the village in which they reside.
Malik Sarkar’s younger brother, Wajhad Sohail Sameer has two wives. His estranged first wife Samreen Humaira Bano is the mother of his two daughters Hooriya Azekah Daniel and Minhal Zainab Shabbir. Hooriya is a modern outspoken and righteous girl.
She in love with her boyfriend, Danish, but unbeknownst to her, she was betrothed to her first cousin and Malik Sarkar’s heir Balaj Zain Baig at the age of five. While Hooriya and her mother are against the marriage Malik Sarkar is adamant upon getting the two married.
