Love is Blind live reunion not working as Netflix pleads for patience

The much-anticipated Netflix live streaming on Sunday for Season 4 of the reality show ‘Blind Love’ has been delayed after technical issues left fans impatient to wait.

Finally, Netflix has selected the tape of the film for broadcasting, announcing that it will be available worldwide at 3 p.m. ET Monday.

“To everyone who got up late, got up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon… we are very sorry that the Love is Blind Live Reunion did not happen as we planned,” tweeted Netflix in a statement. “We’re filming it now and we’ll get it on Netflix as soon as possible. Again, thanks and sorry.

The second live show on the Netflix series will begin at 8 p.m. On Sunday. Minutes after its launch, Netflix tweeted, “Love… #LoveIsBlindLIVE starts at 15 minutes!”

A few minutes later, the media service promised that the show “will be worth the wait…”. When Netflix subscribers tried to access the stream, a screen greeted them that read, “It’s the time! The live episode will start soon.

The company is not as familiar with live streaming as many of its streaming competitors. The only broadcast on Netflix is on March 4 when it airs “Chris Rock: The Furious,” the comedian’s special. It flows without hindrance.

Netflix’s competitors have found success in live streaming. Amazon Prime began airing Thursday Night Football last year. Apple TV+ partners with Major League Baseball for select games. Other contestants also entered the fray.

But Netflix is famously flexible – not because of technical barriers, but because the company has repeatedly said that live streaming rights, especially for games, are too expensive. Still, Netflix had a tough 2022, losing subscribers as consumer behavior changed. The company has begun experimenting with live streaming as social media continues to change.
As the world waits for the reunion event, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, crazy and hurtful social media messages start pouring in.

Among the angry fans is a Democratic representative from New York. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, brought back by Netflix.
