The animated series created by Dreamworks Animations in collaboration with Netflix, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, will be available from September 18 on the platform of the American giant. This new adventure was designed by Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall.
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is an animated series that will be divided into 8 episodes of about 20 minutes. The story features a group of six teenagers trapped in a new adventure camp on the other side of Isla Nublar. As the events of the 2015 film unfold and dinosaurs rampage across the island, each child realizes that their very survival rests on their shoulders and those of their fellow campers. Unable to reach the outside world, our six teens will go from strangers to family friends as they band together to survive the dinosaurs and uncover hidden secrets so deep they threaten the world itself.

At the distribution level, we find Paul-Mikél Williams, Jenna Ortega, Ryan Potter, Raini Rodriguez, Sean Giambrone, Kausar Mohammed, and Glen Powell who play the different protagonists of this first season of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. As for the creatures, we will find several well-known faces from the franchise including Owen’s Blue the Velociraptor from the films of the second trilogy and leader of the park’s raptor pack as well as the formidable Indominus Rex.
Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous should perhaps allow several fans to remain patient while waiting for the next installment of the famous franchise titled Dominion which should be released in theaters in June 2021 after being postponed following the consequences related to the COVID-19. This will be the third opus of the reboot of the series orchestrated by Steven Spielberg.
