Sally Phillips born 10 May 1969 is an English actress, television presenter, and comedian. She co-created and was one of the writers of the sketch comedy show Smack the Pony.
In 2004, Phillips has played the title role in the BBC Radio 4 comedy show Clare in the Community. Since 2018, she has been curator of The Museum of Curiosity on the Radio 4 comedy program of that name.
Her father's job, she grew up in the Far East, the Middle East, Italy, and Australia. Aged 13 she was sent to board at Wycombe Abbey School, where she studied for both O Levels and A Levels.
Phillips is a Christian. She was married to Andrew Bermejo for 14 years and has three sons from their marriage, one with Down's syndrome.
Phillips is a patron of Blue Apple Theatre (Hampshire, UK) which specializes in creating performance work with adults with a learning disability.
