Miyavi Career

Miyavi used to sing songs in Korean and Japanese and then he realized that if he wanted to attract a large audience, he should sing songs in English. Therefore, he went to USA to Learn English. He took English Classes and also dance classes. Miyavi started to give street performances. Miyavi’s sixth studio album ‘This Iz the Japanese Kabuki Rock’ was released in 2008.

It was followed by his very first worldwide tour. This was the Japanese Kabuki Rock Tour 2008, which covered 14 countries and 33 concerts. and from this point, people started to like him. Miyavi was in the sight of a larger audience.

During 2017 and 2018, he appeared in four films; as Gunpei Ikari in ‘Kong: Skull Island’, as Jin in ‘Stray’, as Byakuya Kuchiki in ‘Bleach’ and as Adachi in ‘Gangoose’. Concurrently in 2017, he embarked on two major tours, ‘Live Nation’s Asia On Tour’ and ‘Fire Bird World Tour’.
