The biography of Kristen Schaal is an American actress, writer, voice artist, and comedian. She was born on January 24, 1978, in Longmont, Colorado. She is of Dutch ancestry, raised in a rural area near Boulder, Colorado at her family’s cattle ranch. Her father was a construction worker and her mother, a secretary. Her brother’s name is David, three years older than her. Her family belongs to the Lutheran branch of Christianity. Schaal attended Skyline High School. After her graduation from Northwestern University, in 2000 she moved to New York to pursue her comedy career. In 2005, she was included in the NYC times article “The Ten Funniest New Yorkers You’ve Never Heard Of” Some of her notable roles include Hotwives of Orlando, 30 Rock, Trixie, and Wilfred. She has also starred in the Fox comedy The Last Man on Earth. She also worked as a voice artist in FOX animated comedy Bob’s Burgers as Louise Belcher, Word Girl and as Mabel Pines in Gravity Falls. Her most recent, yet to be released movie is My Spy. In 2012, Schaal married to former Daily Show staff writer Rich Blomquist. On February 11, 2018, Schaa gave birth to her daughter, Ruby.
