Biography

Anil George is an Indian film actor who started off with the 1999 movie Kabhi Paas Kabhi Fail, and then went on to star in several movies like Miss Lovely, Mardaani as a lawyer, Vidya Balan - Emraan Hashmi starrer Hamari Adhuri Kahani, director Vipin Parashar's comedy Udanchhoo and Muzaffarnagar 2013 in the role of Jodha Singh.

His 2017 venture includes the action thriller film Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, under the direction of Kushan Nandy, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bengali actress Bidita Bag in the lead roles.

Anil George is an actor, known for Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), Mardaani (2014), and Ssshhhh... Koi Hai (2001).

It was one of his best works. He played the role of Vicky Duggal, a producer who produces horror sleazy movies along with his brother Sonu Duggal. The role of Sonu Duggal was played by the award-winning actor, Navazuddin Siddiqui. Ashim Ahluwalia directed the movie. It was set in the mid-1980s and won three awards including Bombay International Film Festival Award (2012) and National Film Award (2014).

It was nominated for the Cannes Film Festival, Dubai International Film Festival, Filmfare Awards, and Hong Kong Asian Film Awards as well. Anil worked in the movie with actors like Niharika Singh, Zeena Bhatia, etc. Anil also worked in Mardaani, a film starring Rani Mukerji.
