Angira Dhar is an Indian film actress and model. She was born on May 25, 1988 in Mumbai, India. She started her career in the field of acting. She works in Bollywood films and earned a name in the industry.

She has acted in several Bollywood movies in which her roles are notable, such as; ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ a web series that was released in the year 2015. 

Dhar began a career in TV production with Channel V. During this stint, she learnt key technical skills like writing scripts, editing and shooting, making her an all-round TV professional. She also worked behind the camera as an assistant film director.

While at Channel V, she was offered chances to appear on camera for promos and shows, but Dhar focused on learning production for she hadn’t chosen acting as a career yet. Angira married Anand Tiwari in a closed ceremony on 30 April 2021 During her time at Channel V she was offered the anchor position on the show ‘Beg Borrow Steal’ by UTV Bindass.

She made her Bollywood debut in 2013, starring in the film called Ek Bura Aadmi starring Arunodaya Singh and Raghuvir Yadav.

In 2018, she was cast as a lead actor for the first film to be directed by Anand Tiwari under RSVP (Ronnie Screwvala Production) titled Love per Square Foot opposite Vicky Kaushal.
